My name is Kathryn (Kat) Kaiser, and I have been teaching for 13 years. I spent the first nine years of my career in an 8th grade classroom teaching math and social studies. Before coming to FLIGHT, I spent four years as an Instructional Technology coach for grades 6-12.
Teaching is most definitely my passion, and middle school students are truly some of my most favorite people with whom to spend time. After years in and out of the classrooms, I have found that my greatest joy comes from watching students grow and discover themselves as a learner. Students challenge and inspire me - they are the reason I look forward to going to work every morning, and they ensure that my job will never be boring!
I graduated from Waukesha schools, and went on to UW- Milwaukee for my undergrad. Shortly after graduating I went back to school and received my master's in Instructional Technology from Cardinal Stritch. I love learning and will continue to grow professionally as long as I possibly can! I am thrilled to be a part of FLIGHT as my husband (Sam) and I currently live in Waukesha with our two beautiful daughters, Addisyn (10) and Macy (6). I am happy to be living and contributing to the community that I grew up in!
